About

1996-2005

The College of Business is currently housed in Bexell Hall, a 4-story facility requiring a major renovation to serve the needs of its educational programs. Our firm has worked closely with the University to formulate a strategy for improving the facility to fit the current and future needs of students, faculty and staff. We have formulated program strategies to redevelop the main entry, redevelop the interior at the main entry, reconfigure internal circulation, create office suites for faculty, staff, and student interaction, modify and refurbish existing classrooms, and provide needed support spaces to facilitate a supportive educational environment.

A significant increase in building size to respond to requirements for a contemporary business education is an important component of the program strategy. An infill addition is proposed at the north side of Bexell Hall. Four floors with 10,000 square feet at each floor would provide 40,000 square feet of programmable space.
