We were awarded a multi-year small projects contract for Washington State University, Vancouver and this was the first project executed. The WSU Vancouver campus added to their Child Development Program with a 550 sf addition and renovation of 1,300 sf of their newly renamed McClaskey Building. The renovation converted the existing space into an all-day kindergarten program and more efficiently utilizes the space to meet their needs. The building addition added the support spaces necessary for the classroom functions. Exterior improvements consisted of a covered walkway to provide rain protection and an enclosed storage for outdoor play equipment. Keeping with the WSU standards for building materials and colors, the addition fits seemlessly with the existing building and surroundings.
